If you are living in Punjab and looking for some relief from high petrol prices, there is great news for you. The Government of Punjab, under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, has launched a special Petrol Subsidy Program. This initiative is designed to provide “Immediate Financial Aid” (Fauri Maali Imdad) to citizens, specifically targeting bike owners and farmers.
The official website is now LIVE, and you can register yourself from the comfort of your home. Whether you are a student, a worker, or a farmer, this article will show you exactly how to apply.
What is the Punjab Petrol Subsidy?
High fuel prices increase daily expenses, from travel costs to even the price of food you buy. The Punjab Petrol Subsidy is a support program where the government gives a fixed amount of money back to eligible people to help them manage their fuel costs more easily.
There are two main categories:
- Bike Petrol Fuel Subsidy: For people who use motorcycles for work or daily travel.
- Rickshaw Fuel Subsidy: To support rickshaw drivers in managing their fuel costs.
The goal is to make life easier for the common man by transferring money directly into their bank accounts through a transparent and fast process.
